Heltzel-type transition forms

dee manufactures both straight and radius Heltzel-type transition forms for use in flatwork, curb and gutter, and high curb forming applications.

dee's radius Heltzel-type transition forms (#709H male and #710H female) are designed to connect our radius forms (#507) to Heltzel-type straight forms with either 2-inch or 3-inch top rails. Our straight Heltzel-type transition forms (#711H) are designed to connect of dee straight forms (#204, #205, #216) to Heltzel-type straight forms with 2-inch or 3-inch top rails.

Description

dee manufactures non-standard radius transition forms for transitioning to, or from, Heltzel-type straight forms and dee radius forms . These transition forms are available for straight forms with 2" or 3" rails and are available in heights from 4" to 24". dee manufactures this type of transition form with a sleeve end or a receptacle end for connection to the Heltzel-type forms and an angle bar for connection to dee's spring steel radius forms. They are available come in a male version (#709H) and a female version (#710H).

dee manufactures non-standard straight transition forms for transitioning to, or from, Heltzel-type straight forms and dee straight forms . These transition forms (#711) are available for straight forms with either 2" or 3" rails and are available in heights from 4" to 24". dee manufactures these straight transition forms to slip over the top rail of the Heltzel-type flatwork forms and dee's straight forms.  

Applications

These dee-manufactured, non-standard, radius and straight transition forms allow contractors to use dee's spring steel radius forms or straight forms in combination with their existing Heltzel-type straight forms.

Transitioning to dee radius forms allows the contractors to form radius curbs and gutters, high curbs, sidewalks, and patios without using wood or "cheap" hot-rolled strip steel radius forms that will kink and deform after 1 or 2 uses.

Transitioning to dee straight forms allows the contractors to form straight curbs and gutters, high curbs, sidewalks, and patios in conjunction with their existing inventory Heltzel type forms.

Specifications/range of sizes

The Heltzel-type radius transition forms are metal accessories made out of 10-gauge steel and are manufactured in standard 1-foot sections. The male transition form (#709H) is designed to transition from a dee radius form to a Heltzel-type straight forms receptacle end. The female transition form (#710H) is designed to transition from a Heltzel-type straight form's nose end to a dee radius form.

The Heltzel-type straight transition forms (#711H) are metal accessories made out of 10-gauge steel and are manufactured in standard 5-foot sections. They are manufactured to slip over the top rails of dee's straight forms and the Heltzel-type straight forms to create a continuous connection between the forms.

dee's Heltzel type radius and straight transition forms are available in heights up to 24" and can be manufactured for transitioning Heltzel-type forms with either 2" or 3" rails.
