Slip-on division plates

dee Concrete Accessories slip-on division plates for wood are similar to our normal division plates, but are specifically made for use with wood forms. They are available as full division plates and skeleton division plates.

Applications

Full division plates are used at the end of a curb & gutter systems placement and function as bulkheads. Typically, division plates are spaced evenly at the end of each 10-feet section. Any full plate can be substituted with a skeleton plate when a full break is not required or if continuous rebar is specified.

Skeleton division plates do not provide full penetration in the system and are frequently used instead of full division plates to support the curb & gutter system. They are easier to remove and also provide a control joint.

Skeleton division plates are used to support a curbface form or used as templates to strike off the curbface profile.

Features and benefits

• Sidewalk division plates are used as bulkheads, provide cold joints, and act as spacers for the side forms.

• Division plate use helps prevent sidewalk cracking when the ground settles or shifts due to the changes caused by the heat and cold.
