Description
dee Concrete Accessories line of curbface plate transition forms provides the concrete contractor forming high curbs with the ability to transition to and from either radius or straight high curb forms in full, partial, and vertical batters. We offer a specialized transition form that allows concrete contractors using Heltzel-type straight high curb forms, to transition to and from dee's radius high curb forms.
Partial batter curbface plate transition form
Male one-piece (#564A)
The 1-piece male partial batter curbface plate transition form (#564A) is designed to transition to, or from, a radius partial batter high curb faceplate being used in conjunction with to dee's 1-piece straight partial batter straight high curb form.
Partial batter curbface plate transition form
Male two-piece (#564B)
The 2-piece male partial batter curbface plate transition form (#564B) is designed transition to, or from, a radius partial batter high curb faceplate being used in conjunction with to dee's 2-piece straight partial batter high curb form.
dee's partial batter curbface plate male transition forms connect to the straight partial batter high curb curbface form by slipping the nose located on the male transition form into the female receptacle incorporated the high curb form.
Partial batter curbface plate transition form
Female (#565)
The 1-piece female partial batter curbface plate transition form (#565) is designed to transition to, or from, a radius partial batter high curb faceplate being used in conjunction with to dee's 1-piece, or 2-piece, straight partial batter high curb form. The radius partial batter high curb form is attached to the transition form end angle using lock clamps (#625) to complete the transition process.
dee's partial batter curbface plate female transition forms connect to the straight partial batter high curb curbface form by slipping the female receptacle of the transition form over the male nose attached to the high curb form.
Full batter curbface plate transition form
We also manufacture full batter curbface plate transition forms (#566 male and #567 female) for high curb forming.
The full batter curbface plate transition forms are used in conjunction with radius full batter high curb faceplates to ensure the curbface profile is correctly transitioned to, or from, either the matching radius full batter high curb faceplate or the straight full batter high curb form. (Straight full batter high curb forms are manufactured as one-piece forms and do not incorporate the use of curbface plates.)
Full batter high curb curbface plate transition forms are used to "seamlessly" connect radius full batter high curb curbface plates to straight full batter high curb forms or vice versus.
Lock clamps attach the full batter radius high curb faceplate to the full batter curbface plate transition form, which is then connected to the straight full batter high curb front form.
Heltzel-type high curb full batter curbface plate transition forms
dee Concrete Accessories Heltzel-type high curb male and female curbface plate transition forms (dee #568 male and #569 female) , for high curb forming, are fabricated to any project-required height or batter. Our curbface plate transition forms connect to Heltzel-type high curb forms by either sliding the top rail male knife connector into the female receptacle of the Heltzel-type form or by sliding the female transition form over the male knife connector attached to the Heltzel-type form.
The radius high curb form can then be attached to the transition form end angle using lock clamps (#625) to complete the transition process. Using dee's Heltzel-type high curb male and female curbface plate transition forms al lows the concrete contractor transition from forming a Heltzel-type straight high curb placement to forming a radius high curb placement and then back to a Heltzel-type straight high curb placement without having to use wood or Masonite™ to create the transitions, saving time and materials expense.
