Curbface filler forms

Our curbface filler forms, both straight and radius, are designed to fill in curbface lengths between the curbface forms when that space is less than 10-feet long.

Description

dee Concrete Accessories straight and radius curbface filler forms (#241 straight and #517 radius) for curb and gutter forming are used to fill in curbface lengths of less than 10- feet. Curbface filler forms can be manufactured to match any curbface specification. Straight curbface filler forms are manufactured out of 12-gauge steel. Radius curbface filler forms are manufactured out of strips of 10-gauge cold rolled steel formed to the correct batter specification and fastened together using a steel strip.

Straight curbface filler forms

dee's straight curbface filler forms slip over each of the top rails of the two straight curbface forms to be connected.   The bottom of the straight curbface filler form is locked into place by inserting the bottom edge of the curbface filler form into the clip welded onto to the bottom of the division plate. This locking action prevents the bottom of the curbface filler form from pitching out when concrete is poured into the curb and gutter form system. A top spreader is used to lock the curbface filler form firmly into place to complete the setup process.

Radius curbface filler forms

dee's radius curbface filler forms are fastened to radius curbface forms using a filler form lock (#688). The bottom of the radius curbface filler form is locked into place by inserting the bottom edge of the curbface filler form into the clip welded onto to the bottom of the radius division plate. This locking action prevents the bottom of the curbface filler form from pitching out when concrete is poured into the curb and gutter form system. A rotating clip attached to the top of the radius division plate is used to lock the radius curbface filler form firmly into place to complete the process. Top spreaders are used to lock the curbface filler form firmly into place to complete the system, if the curbface filler form is being used for a double radius curb and gutter application.

Applications

Curbface filler forms are metal accessories used to fill in the space between curbface forms that will occur whenever there is a curb and gutter form length requirement that is not evenly divisible by 10 feet.
